What does an IQ test measure?
A well-designed test samples selected abilities such as logical, numerical and abstract reasoning. The result is influenced by the task set, time conditions, language, concentration and familiarity with similar problems.
One score is not the whole person
Creativity, practical judgement, emotional understanding, persistence and domain knowledge are not fully captured by a single score. Results should therefore be read as one data point, not a permanent label.
Data and privacy
The PICALLW test stores submitted answers, results and entered information in the back-end system for administration, statistics and test improvement. Users should read the privacy notice before submitting data.
How to use the result constructively
Use the outcome to identify strengths, notice difficult task types and decide what to practise. Repeated testing in identical conditions is more informative than comparing isolated scores from unrelated tests.
