NODVIA View is a standalone Android runtime for HMI projects designed in NODVIA Studio. It is built for operation: open the project, run it fullscreen and show the HMI without exposing NODVIA Field service menus.
NODVIA View is the final stage of the practical deployment workflow. Studio prepares and publishes the project, PICALLW Cloud handles project delivery and licensing context, and View activates and runs it on the Android device.

Studio →Publish the project over HTTPS. It receives a stable Project ID, version, SHA-256 and a deployment link or QR code.
Scan the QR code or enter the Project ID, activate the project and open it as a standalone fullscreen HMI.
NODVIA Field and NODVIA View have different roles. Field is the engineering toolkit; View is the dedicated visualization runtime. The separation keeps the operator experience focused and prevents accidental navigation into service tools.
View does not expose the Field toolbox. The primary experience is always the project HMI.
A deployment link or QR code transfers the Project ID into the app; the project is then activated and downloaded from the cloud.
Users can manage multiple assigned projects and open, update or download them again.
The activated license and project are designed so the HMI can continue operating without a permanent cloud connection after successful activation.
An element can write only when writing is enabled in the project and supported by the binding and protocol.
View has its own update workflow and can check for new releases independently of NODVIA Field.
View uses the same visualization project designed in Studio. The goal is a clean operator interface on a phone or tablet.
The Project ID connects Studio, Cloud and View. A project can receive a new package and visualization version without rebuilding the Android configuration manually.
The cloud layer stores project packages and versions, supports deployment and tracks active installations and assigned seats. Studio can inspect project status while View receives only the project assigned to it.
NODVIA View uses Cloud for project delivery and activation. HMI logic and live communication remain tied to the project configuration and local environment; the cloud is not a replacement for local automation.
Commissioning & service. Discovers devices, diagnoses protocols, collects project data and supports field engineering.
Field →Design & cloud management. Designs the HMI and manages publishing, Project ID, deployment and Cloud projects.
Studio →Standalone runtime. Receives the assigned project and runs it as a dedicated Android HMI.
Use Field for engineering diagnostics, Studio for design and deployment, and View for the operational Android HMI.
